Affordable Housing Summit
On October 5th and 6th, over 500 participants from the public, private and community sectors attended the landmark Affordable Housing Summit. Commencing with presentations on the evening of October 5th at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts and continuing all day on October 6th at the Broward County Convention Center, the Affordable Housing Summit featured nationally recognized speakers who discussed affordable housing initiatives and programs that have worked successfully to help address affordable housing needs in other communities. In the afternoon, participants met in small group sessions building consensus on key tools and approaches for Broward County.
